The Eclipse War

Prophecy becomes a battlefield.

The Black Eclipse arrives ahead of every calculation. The Eternal Flame transfers its memory into the Golden Shield, the First Crown feeds the Shadow King knowledge of the modern realms, and the Legion attacks the Temple of Light from below.

Valekor survives the first night because a Lion-Marked Guardian turns remembered oaths into a rallying force. Dawn does not end the darkness. It begins a war that moves across every kingdom.

The Omen

The Darkening Sky

The eclipse begins without thunder. At noon, the western horizon turns the color of iron and the sun narrows into a ring of dying gold. Across Valekor, watchfires bend east as though answering a summons.

The Keepers recognize the ancient cycle, but the darkness has arrived years before their oldest calculations. Someone has accelerated prophecy.

The Vision

The Flame's Last Warning

Beneath the Temple of Light, the Eternal Flame turns white and casts no heat. Every Guardian sees the same vision: a crown opening like an eye, seven broken shields, and a lion standing alone before a gate of shadow.

The Flame promises no victory. It asks only that the sacred oath be remembered when fear makes loyalty difficult.

The Artifact

The Crown Awakens

The First Crown surfaces in the ruins of the Kingdom of Ashes. It has no wearer, yet every shard whispers with the Shadow King's voice.

By touching it, secret envoys give the returning sovereign memories of modern Valekor—its roads, rivalries, defenses, and divided thrones.

The Assault

Siege of the Temple

The Legion of Shadows rises beneath the Temple of Light and attacks from below. It does not seek the sanctuary doors. It seeks the roots of the Eternal Flame.

Keepers seal the lower halls while Guardians buy enough time for the Flame to withdraw its living memory into the Golden Shield.

V

The Fracture

Guardians Divided

One Guardian faction demands the First Crown be destroyed, even if its ruin poisons the kingdoms around it. Another believes it can bind the Shadow King forever.

The dispute becomes the enemy's sharpest weapon. Every hour spent arguing allows the Legion to advance.

Totality

The Night Without Stars

When totality reaches Valekor, magic weakens, maps shift, and roads enter places they have never touched. Shadow gates open in abandoned fortresses and beneath royal crypts.

For one night, every kingdom fights alone while messages fail and the sky offers no direction.

VII

The Rally

The Lion at Dawn

At the eastern gate of the Grand Arena, a Guardian bearing the Lion Mark raises the Golden Shield. The relic releases the memories of every oath sworn before the Eternal Flame.

Forgotten courage returns across Valekor. The first line holds because the world remembers what it promised to protect.

The New Age

The Eclipse War Begins

Dawn breaks the darkness into moving fronts that spread across the world. The Shadow King crosses the first gate wearing no crown, while the First Crown waits elsewhere for a willing hand.

The Black Eclipse is no longer a prophecy or a single night. It is a war for the memory, allegiance, and future of Valekor.
